PLUSNEXT provides managed IT, cloud, network and software services. We are expanding our analytical services to help customers understand their performance, improve business processes and identify where technology can deliver more value.
We are looking for a Commercial Data & Market Intelligence Analyst who can turn customer data and market research into practical recommendations. Reporting to the Director, you will take ownership of analytical assignments and help develop opportunities with existing customers and in new markets.
What you will do
- Work with customers and colleagues to define business questions, reporting requirements and useful performance measures.
- Analyse CRM, customer activity, sales and operational data using SQL, Excel and Power BI; investigate patterns and explain their commercial significance.
- Build and improve dashboards, forecasts and recurring reports, with clear definitions and reliable data checks.
- Research markets, competitors and prospective customers to identify needs that match PLUSNEXT services.
- Assess business processes and recommend improvements in reporting, automation and technology use.
- Turn findings into service recommendations and clearly scoped analytical work; support the Director with proposals and coordinate requirements with technical colleagues.
What you will bring
- Experience delivering commercial, business or data analysis that has informed a decision or improved a process.
- Practical SQL, Power BI and Excel skills, including preparing data, checking accuracy and presenting findings.
- Ability to connect customer and market evidence to business needs, priorities and opportunities.
- Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders and the confidence to explain recommendations.
- Ability to manage several assignments, document your work and handle customer information responsibly.
Experience with CRM reporting, market research, forecasting or reporting automation would be useful.
Working arrangement and application
The role is based in Feltham with hybrid working and customer-site visits as required. The planned working week is 40 hours, Monday to Friday.
